A taster workshop looking at communications for challenging situations and to understand tools and strategies for planning effective and compassionate conversations.
Isn’t it strange that in the workplace we are reminded of our obligation to have a good grounding in and regular updates on issues such as manual handling, health and safety and data protection and yet we all have difficult conversations to deal with and we receive very little support in terms of how to handle them.
Often we avoid those conversations we label as difficult without appreciating the consequences this may bring. Its important therefore to understand why we might want to avoid having certain conversations so we are able to plan for them effectively. These essential communication skills will benefit you in all aspects of your life and whatever job or role you have.
